Obtaining an e-Visa for Tanzania is simple. As long as you meet the visa requirements and follow the steps indicated below for the Tanzania evisa application online, you’ll have your eVisa for Tanzania in no time.

Step 1 – Gather All the Required Documents

Enter your personal information

Next, you’ll be asked to enter your personal information. This consists mainly of your name(s), date of birth, and nationality.

Make sure your information is correct; otherwise, your Tanzania Visa application form may be denied.

Enter your employment details

Tanzania requires information about your employment to ascertain that you have an incentive to return to your home country. You can put ‘N.A.’ in the ‘Employer’ and ‘Occupation’ fields if you’re retired.

Enter your passport details

When entering your passport details on the Tanzania visa application online, ensure that your details are the same as your actual passport. Remember, small mistakes like entering an incorrect passport number can lead to your visa being denied.

Enter your travel information

Here is where you need to fill in details about your trip and the type of visa you’re applying for under “Type of visa requested.” Now, under “the purpose of your trip “, you must select tourism. Finally, if you’re a U.S. citizen, you’ll find an option that says “bilateral agreement “.

Sometimes, you’ll find the options won’t load (see the image below). If this happens, refresh your page until it works.

Step 4 – Wait for Feedback

Now, all you need to do is wait patiently for your visa to be processed.

Your visa will be processed within 10 business days. However, the average time is around three (3) days. Then, once approved, you’ll receive an email with your new Tanzania e-Visa.

You also have the option to check your Tanzania visa status online. Just head over to the online portal and select Check Visa Status.

Ngorongoro Crater is a stunning natural wonder located in Tanzania, Africa. It’s one of the few places on earth where you can see elephants and lions living together in their natural habitat.

These cliffs are known as kopjes–they’re made up of hard volcanic rock called rhyolite that was formed millions of years ago when lava flowed out from beneath the earth’s crust and cooled into rock formations. You’ll also see large boulders scattered across the floor of this massive crater; these are called “kopjes” too!

The name “Ngorongoro” means “big hill” or “mountain” in Maasai language–and it’s easy to see why: The whole area is covered with grasslands, shrubs and trees…but most importantly? There are plenty of animals!

Geography and Landscape

Ngorongoro Crater is a caldera, or volcanic crater, located in the Arusha Region of northern Tanzania. It’s essentially a giant hole in the ground that was created when an ancient volcano collapsed sometime between five and eight million years ago (and yes, that’s not even close to being as old as some other places we’ve visited).

The crater itself is about 19 miles wide and 12 miles long with walls ranging from 1,800 feet to 2,100 feet high–that means it could easily hold all three Grand Canyons at once! The surrounding landscape consists mostly of savannah grasslands but also includes forests and marshes where you might spot some wildlife if you’re lucky enough (more on this later).

The Wildlife

The wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater is unique and abundant. The crater is home to many species of animals, including black rhinos, lions and elephants. It also hosts a number of bird species that can be seen while on safari tours in the area.

The rainy season runs from April through September; this is when you’ll see the most rainfall in Tanzania. During this time, there are also more mosquitoes and animals outside of their natural habitats (such as zebras or giraffes). Moderation is key when packing for a safari. You don’t have to be minimalist, but neither do you need to carry a lot of unnecessary luggage in Africa. Please note that safari travelers will carry their luggage in the safari vehicle during the tour. Of course, you can leave your luggage in your room while staying at the same hotel or lodge. Therefore, too much luggage can be inconvenient and interfere with wildlife viewing.
